All PIHI activities are held indoors, however inclement weather may make road conditions too hazardous for travel to our facility. It is ultimately up to each individual to determine if conditions are safe for them to travel.
In the event of inclement weather, PIHI will strive to make a closure decision 2 hours prior to scheduled activities.
When a closure decision has been made, PIHI will update the PIHI phone system with a message regarding the status of the rink for that day. You can call this number at any time to check for updates. The PIHI number is (703) 961-8280.
Weather conditions may change as time progresses, so please continually check the PIHI number for any updates regarding the status of the rink for the remainder of the day in question.
If “The Box” closes due to inclement weather, Potomac Inline Hockey will make its best efforts to reschedule cancelled games and practices based upon rink availability.
