Bronze League Games

PIHI Adult Hockey League

The Adult League is divided into five different skill levels (Adult Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum). The Copper division is for beginner players, 16 years and older, and is focused on skills development and initiation to the game. The Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum divisions generally have between 4 and 10 teams in each.

Individual Players: At the beginning of each season PIHI holds an adult evaluation night for players registering as an individual. This allows players who are not sure in which division they belong to a chance to be evaluated by a league representative.

Team Registrations: Teams may register for the Silver and Gold divisions. Please see our Team Fee Policy for details.

We strive to create equally balanced divisions and reserve the right to move individuals and/or teams to a different division to maintain this balance. We do not allow any team to participate in a division where they will be viewed as disproportionate with regards to the talent level of their players. PIHI has the final decision regarding all player and team placements.

Adult Copper
The Adult Copper Clinic is designed for beginner inline hockey players who need to develop their sense of the game as well as their basic skating, puck handling, and shooting skills. Copper sessions are a mix of practices and scrimmages. It is also a good way for intermediate players to further their develop skills.

Adult Bronze
The Bronze division is designed for advanced beginner/low intermediate inline hockey players who possess an average sense of the game and are gaining confidence in their skating, puck handling, and shooting skills. It is a draft-only division where players register as individuals and are divided up to create balanced teams.

Adult Silver
The Silver division is designed for the intermediate inline hockey player who possesses a good sense of the game and is confident in their skating, puck handling, and shooting skills. Play at this division is faster and more competitive than the Bronze division. Silver division teams may consist of some Gold rated players. Players may register as either an individual or team.

Adult Gold
The Gold division is designed for advanced inline hockey players who possess an excellent sense of the game and team play. Play in this division is very fast paced and very competitive. Most young adults graduating from the High School League will be best suited to play in the Silver or Gold or Divisions. Players may register as either an individual or team.

Adult Platinum
The Platinum division is the highest level of play in the area. This is the fastest paced and most competitive division offered any where in the surrounding area.

MULTI- DIVISIONAL PLAY
Adult League players may register to play in two different divisions during a season. If a player registers for two divisions, they may only register for one level up or down from their rated division. In other words, if a player registers for two divisions then:

Platinum rated players may only play in the Platinum or Gold Division.

Gold rated players may play in the Platinum, Gold or Silver Division.

Bronze rated players may play in the Silver or Bronze division.
