Meet our New Director | Kyle Shrauger

Potomac Inline Hockey (PIHI) is pleased to announce Kyle Shrauger as our new Director responsible for hockey and facility operations.  He will be restructuring and integrating new programs that will help drive the successful future of our inline hockey offerings and The Box facility.

Kyle will be working closely with Bobby Henry, our Adult Commissioner; John Fuller, our Youth Commissioner; Steve Angeline, our High School Commissioner; Dave Morton, our Youth Travel Coordinator; and Billy Harrington, our referee Coordinator and GM of the AIHL Mavericks, to ensure we have the best inline hockey offering in the region.

Kyle moved to Northern Virginia from upstate New York where he played ice hockey and inline hockey for the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Brockport. While at Brockport, he was recognized as the Most Valuable Goalie and the First Team All American goaltender for the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA).  Prior to graduating SUNY Brockport with dual majors in Marketing and Business Administration, he worked with elite player development camps across 36 cities from New York to Florida and facilitated program expansion with rink managers and league directors.  Currently, Kyle plays as a goaltender for the Potomac Mavericks elite team in the American Inline Hockey League (AIHL) and has coached several national and international teams.

As our new Director, Kyle brings a wealth of experience working with other rinks up and down the east coast and mid-Atlantic regions.  With his extensive hockey background in player and league development, he looks to build PIHI's reputation as Northern Virginia's premier inline hockey destination.  Be sure to introduce yourself to him scouting out your next game!!!
