Some may ask, where do all these great players come from? Several of the key Elite players have been playing for GM and Head Coach Billy Harrington since their U14 youth hockey days. Kevin Spain, Pat Giesecke, and Jonathan Vu have been playing together over 10 years. Adding into the mix is a few imports in Kevin Donovan from Buffalo, Tyler Moyer from Ohio State University, and Pat Lawton from New York.
One of the Mavericks goals is to assist in the development of all players; professional, travel, and house levels. We are very proud to say that many of our Elite level players come from within our own organization. We have players that come from our U8/U12/U14 and High School House Leagues, our Youth Travel Leagues, and our very own Adult Leagues. Coming up thru the PIHI youth leagues and now playing against the top players in the Country include Andrew Lensing, Cameron Lensing and Nick Guilford.
